The PLDIC needs your help to solve a DEI challenge faced by our member organizations. This will be a pitch competition in which teams will put their heads together to brainstorm a solution. A panel of distinguished judges will select the winning pitch. This event will be a great opportunity to utilize your DEI knowledge, connect with likeminded colleagues throughout the legal community, and directly contribute to helping the PLDIC implement a solution that will benefit our members’ DEI efforts.

Problem statement for the competition: Our member organizations have struggled with the recruitment and retention of attorneys from racially underrepresented backgrounds. The PLDIC is committed to assisting our members with this challenge. How can we, as a coalition of Pittsburgh legal employers, collaboratively elevate and promote our region and our profession such that attorneys of color choose to work here and stay to thrive here?
