PLDIC Launches Brave Space/Self-Care Series

Lawyers from historically marginalized backgrounds often face unique challenges that can impact their mental and physical health. Too often, they do not feel psychologically safe enough at work to discuss why external events can be particularly stressful to them. The PLDIC Community Building Committee has designed this program to be a monthly on-going series, alternating between a brave/safe space for facilitated conversations and discussions about external events impacting our lives and classes focused on tools to build mental and physical health and to learn skills to successfully navigate difficult situations at work.

We will meet monthly, usually on the third Wednesday of each month, at 12 p.m. at Eckert Seamans. You are welcome to attend any session. We just ask that you pre-register for security purposes. Please feel free to bring your lunch.
