The Coalition welcomes its newest member organization: City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Law
The Department of Law provides legal advice and serves as in-house corporate counsel to the City of Pittsburgh, which often involves providing advice to the Mayor, City Directors, City Council, and various governmental units. It represents the City in all legal aspects of its daily governmental functions. It also represents the City in all cases which impact public policy and City residents’ quality of life.
“The City of Pittsburgh’s Law Department is excited to be part of the PLDIC. As part of a municipality that serves over 300,000 residents, the Law Department recognizes the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion when advising City Departments in their respective efforts to better serve the Pittsburgh community. We look forward to working with the PLDIC in making Pittsburgh a welcoming legal community for all.”
