The Association of Corporate Counsel Western Pennsylvania Chapter (ACCWPA) will present Implicit Bias in Legal Settings – Why and How to Disrupt It (Sponsored by Babst Calland) on December 15 from 12-1 p.m. This session will define Implicit Bias and identify ways in which it poses challenges for groups under-represented in the legal profession. The presenters will discuss the Bostock decision and how Implicit Bias affects hiring and other personnel decisions, including work assignments in a law firm or corporate law department. The panel will also answer participants’ questions and identify practical measures to interrupt Implicit Bias and work toward a more diverse and inclusive work environment.
