Corporate Roundtable
The Corporate Roundtable is for our in-house legal department members (“Corporate Members”). During these roundtable meetings, in-house counsel and legal professionals from our Corporate Members hold collaborative discussions and presentations about best practices, tools, and programs to source diverse outside counsel and to enhance the diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts of our law firm members, and in turn, the Corporate Members’ own legal departments.
The Corporate Roundtable meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month from 3-4 p.m. from September-June virtually via Zoom. If your in-house legal department is interested in joining the Corporate Roundtable:
Resources for our Corporate Members
The founding members of the Corporate Roundtable have created a Member Handbook, accessible on our members only page, providing guidance to our Corporate Members about Collecting Diversity Metrics from Outside Counsel and the Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement of Diverse In-House Attorneys. Stay tuned for an update to this guide on Relationship Building Programs between Diverse Outside Counsel and In-House Clients.
Corporate Member Events
The PLDIC’s Corporate Members are in a unique position to advocate for change, both within their organizations and with their outside counsel. Many of the employees of our Corporate Members are interested in improving the diversity, equity, and inclusion of their organizations and outside counsel, but are unsure of how to make progress.
The PLDIC offers events and programs for our Corporate Members that will help equip them the tools they need to succeed, as well as provide valuable CLE credits at no cost.
