ACBA members are invited to attend the 18th Homer S. Brown Division Black History Month Celebration, to be held virtually again this year. During this event, the Division will present its Spirit Award – which is presented to an individual or organization who has exhibited leadership qualities, as well as a commitment to the promotion of equality and the advancement of justice among the African-American community – to Harold Hayes, the longtime KDKA-TV personality.

Additionally, the Division will present its Young Leader Award to ACBA member Morgan Bonekovic. This award is presented to an individual who has exhibited leadership qualities and a commitment to the promotion of equality and the advancement of justice among the African-American community. It is presented to an HSBD member who is under 40, who has actively participated in the HSBD and at least one other ACBA committee, division or section.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
