Looking for the opportunity to engage with distinguished judges from across North America? This CLE – scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. on the lower level of the Koppers Building – will do just that. Panelists include judges from Nova Scotia, Maryland and Illinois, and two local judges from the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
This program will provide valuable insights into the legal and judicial issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community while fostering discussions on equality and the role of the judiciary within the legal system. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals from the perspective of those on the bench, will learn how to better advocate for their clients in court and will gain valuable insights about pursuing a career as a judicial officer.
The program will be followed by a networking reception with the judges.
