My family and I moved to Pittsburgh from Northern Virginia in 2009, while I was working in engineering consulting. We chose Pittsburgh because of the great schools, affordability and diverse population. Living in an affordable city like Pittsburgh allowed me to attend law school full-time and begin a second career. Now I work for a mid-size national law firm doing construction litigation and find the Pittsburgh legal fraternity very collegial and professional.
